Ladybird
There are more than 5,200 different ladybirds worldwide.
They can have red, yellow or black backs with black or red spots.
Ladybirds have many other names including Ladybugs, Ladybeetles and Dowdy Cows.
ANT
A small, very busy insect. Some ants like to look after aphids so they can drink the honey dew produced by the aphids. Ants will attack intruders who might harm the aphids.
ALLIGATOR
A large reptile, related to a crocodile.
APHID
A small green insect, sometimes called a greenfly. Aphids love to live on rose bushes.
